Our vessel, the Jean Joseph, is 82 meters long; it can load 3,000 metric tons or 4,250 cubic meters of bulk material in a large waterproof and covered space. Two advantages of the Jean Joseph: its small draft of 5,2 meters gives the Jean Joseph the capacity to berth at smaller ports; the other particularity is that it is self-loading and unloading, by using a 35 metric tons capacity excavator mounted on its bridge.
